We have hives located in Washington, DC and Lewes, Delaware. Bees generally collect pollen and nectar within a 2 mile radius from the hive. The honey produced in each hives is unique in taste, even though the hives are close together and some bees overlap in their collection grounds. We find DC honey especially delicious because the city is like an orchard - there are so many flowering trees, bushes, and flowers!

We collect and separate our honey by month. When purchasing honey, you can see on each jar the location and month it was collected. If you have allergies, you may want to choose the closest location to where you live and honey from the month when your allergies are at their peak. It is said that eating a spoonful of honey a day can help relieve the effects of allergies!
